黄城遗址位于登封市君召乡北黄城村，城内面积18万平方米。该城现存城墙一周，其夯筑法在我省古代城墙中十分少见。

根据城墙的夯筑特点及夯筑方法可知，黄城始建于春秋时期。此城墙的发现，对研究春秋时期城墙的修筑方法提供了重要的实物资料。
