南京市县是南京在六朝时期下辖的一个县，是东晋、宋、齐、梁、陈五朝的国都建康所在地，当时中国的政治、经济、文化和军事中心。

西晋建兴元年（313年），为了避帝的名讳，改建邺称建康，为扬州市和丹阳郡治所。

隋朝开皇九年（589年），属蒋州。

隋朝大业二年（606年），建康县并入江宁县。
