宋纤晋朝敦煌人，字令艾，一作令文。

少有远操，隐居酒泉南山，弟子受业者三千余人。太守马岌具威仪造之，拒不见，岌叹曰：“名可闻而身不可见，德可仰而形不可睹。今而后，知先生人中龙也。”年八十二卒，谥曰玄虚先生。
